Evolution of Harry Potter Game Trailers (2001-2021 Hogwarts Legacy)

I’ve got a bit of a different style of video for you guys today. As the new Harry Potter game was just announced, Hogwarts Legacy, I thought it could be fun to jump all the way back to 2001 and see how the Harry Potter games have developed over the last two decades. I will be starting with the first Harry Potter game, which came out in 2001, and moving chronologically through the years until we get to 2021: two decades later, which is when Hogwarts Legacy will be released.

I’m going to be using trailer footage as I don’t have footage on-hand for all of the games and I don’t want to steal footage from anyone else. Anyway, without further ado, sit back, relax, and enjoy the development of the Harry Potter games over the last two decades.

I sped up and cropped the clips as otherwise the video would be way too long, but left just enough to give you an idea of each trailer.
